0,5 flasker delt med Stephen på CUC: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Deilige toner av citrus (inkl. grapefrukt), aprikoser og hint av engelsk appelsinmarmelade. Stemningsskapende ettersmak.

Bottle from Hillier Garden Centre, near Marlow. Golden-amber with a white head and a light to middling fizz. Mainly malty, with caramel, a few dry leaves and just the faintest waft of lemon. Easy, drinking, inoffensive and rather dull. I would call it a perfect example of a supermarket bitter if I hadn't got it from a garden centre!

Bottle from a garden centre in Sunningdale or thereabouts. Aroma combines citrus and doughy malts. Spice. Opaque dull gold. Foamy translucent white head. Medium sour citrus with a vinous edge. Underlying sugary streak. Doughy malts. Light. Slick if thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. I enjoyed this.

On tap at The White Rabbit Club, Oxford, in the company of John, Wednesday 11th May 2022. Pours mid/dark amber with a white head. Typical earthy and hedgerow type hoppiness, fruity, light bitterness, a throwback type beer amongst a bunch of more modern ones this evening. Fine.
