On tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, candied sugar, and soft doughy notes. Flavour brings out doughy malt, Belgian yeast, and a touch of candied sugar. Very elegant, with high complexity and a very soft mouthfeel. ABV is remarkably well-hidden. Excellent stuff.

On tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fruity fresh hops, pine and citrus. Flavour is similar, with bone dry pine, some light fruitiness and citrus. Super dry and highly refreshing. Excellent stuff.

On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach, pours a hazy golden / copper with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of biscuity, crackery malt, light floral hops, and dry crackery malts. Pretty ordinary, but ultimately fairly boring. Solidly made.

GABF 2013. Pours a deep brown appearance with a nice creamy brown head. Chocolate, cocoa, light coffee, roasty, slightly sweet, a bit spicy aroma. Smooth earthy coffee, chocolate, light vanilla, lightly fruity flavor. Pretty cool beer.

GABF 2013. Pours a pretty clear deep orange appearance with a light brown head. Caramel, chocolate, toffee, a bit herbal aroma. Really pretty sweet, caramel malty, brown sugar flavor with a touch of dark fruits. Kind of too sweet for me but not bad.

Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, earth, toast and cocoa. The taste is roasted malt, caramel, toast, burnt ash, dark fruit, raisin and some meatiness with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent.
