750 ml bottle at the DC local tasting, courtesy of Brad, hooked up by Chris. Murky light brown color, tan head. Aroma of prune, plum, sour summer fruits. Taste has sour cherry, vanilla. Good stuff, probably best of the night.

Bottle shared at the 2010 RBSG Grand Tasting, thanks to whoever shared this with me. Poured a hazy brown with an off-white head that lasted. Aroma had notes of both dark and light fruits with caramel, light chocolate and a bit of candied sugar present. Flavor had a hint of alcohol with dark fruits and chocolate, lightens with caramel, candied sugar and light fruits.

on tap-pours a retaining light tan head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty, some earthy hops. Taste is medium malt-roasty, some earthy hops, yeasty. Drying finish.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours dark brown with a small amber to deep orange glare and a small off-white head. Aroma is dark estery and hard roasted malt. Sweet and estery fruity flavoured. Dark roasted and mild breadish. Dry estery and fruity.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours dark brown with a golden deep amber glare with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and dark malty. Smooth roasted and light breadish with a nice toffee roasted note. Dry and roasted malt finish. Vague bitterness.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours almost clear and a mix between pink and orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light estery. Estery and berry fruity, light citric. Smooth fruity and medium dry into the far finish. Mild citric and lasting estery note.

Magnum bottle, courtesy of cquiroga. Gusher. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Smooth fruity and light caramelish aroma. Light acetone and dry malty flavoured. Smooth cherry like note. Bitter and dry. Nice mix between roasted malt and wooden barrel fruity notes.
