Draft. lightly hazy amber beer with an off-white head. Big grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit/summer fruit flavor with caramel backing. Medium body. Big hop flavor, but bitterness could use a little boost. Lingering summer fruit/grapefruit and some caramel.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Big chocolate, roast, coffee aroma. Chocolate flavor with coffee and even more roast. Medium-plus bodied. Chocolate, coffee, and light roast linger.

GABF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grass and grapefruit, and oranges. The flavor is very powerful with notes of grapefruit and grass as well as a light alcohol burn before a dry bitter and grassy finish sets in.

Sample from an 05 bottle at RBSG shared generously by cquiroga! Nose of Raisins, caramel, candisugar, and a vanilla note; cloudy dark brown with a small beige head; flavor of figs, raisins (very dark fruity), lightly yeasty and sweet! Glad I got to taste this as it is one of the mix between AS and Vinnie of RR Despirartion (a favorite)!

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours pitch black with a lacing and creamy tan head. Hard roasted malt and coffeeish aroma. Flavour is extremely smooth chocolate malt and espresso beans. Hard roasted and dry yet yummy. Lingering creamy finish. Lovely.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours black and with a lacing tan head. Hard roasted and coffeeish malt aroma. Flavour is hardroasted, light residual sweetness and a nice chocolate malty smoothness. Ends with a long lingering roasted malt flavour.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Dry wheaty and estery banana aroma. Flavour is sweet and classic wheaty yet also very fruity. Lingering fruity finish and into a rather dry finish. Classic wheat beer.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is fruity hops of grapefruit but also a bit spiced. Solid spiced and hoppy flavour with a nicely balanced caramel malt base. Dense flavourful brew yet also smooth. Smooth and nice finish with bitterness and dry fruity flavours. Lovely.
