Shortlived cream rim over deep russet black-brown beer. Shoepolish, red fruit in a condensed way, leather, coffee. Dry coffee, tobacco ash, bit of liquorice, and again leather. Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, cardamom and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel, chocolate and cardamom finish. Body is medium to full, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
