(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Extremely pleasant fruit and flower notes in the nose. Medium body, lightly sweet and candy-like - the alcohol is scaringly well hidden. The finish is soft and smooth with a subdued bitterness. A nice and very easygoing Belgian Strong. 090907

Bottled. Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is coffee, alcohol, chocolate and some spices. Flavour is chocolate, alcohol, coffee along with some roasted malts and vanilla. A bit too sweet, partly thanks to the alcohol, but otherwise a very nice brew. Aftertaste is vanilla and roasted malts.

500ml bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy, orange body topped by a fragile white head. Wheaty and spicy smell. Very sweet taste with vanilla, late banana and candy. A welcoming yeasty touch at the finish, but still to much sweetness for my taste. Full palate and not easy to drink (02.0.2007)

Hazy light amber color. The aroma is malty and fruity, not too strong. Strong body structure, full malty, sweet, fruity, spicy, good yeast choice. Good bitterness level. And it’s still young! Excellent

Black color; huge creamy head. The aroma is soft, the mouthfeel is velvety, with a good mix of flavors, when in the end it leans on the roasted malt and its light sourness. Interesting.
