Description
Our first love was the hazy, hoppy New England style pales and IPAs so you'll find plenty of these on our menus. Although we have three core beers (Cosmic Dust, Termination Shock and Galaxies Apart), we love experimenting so you can expect new releases every month to keep things interesting. We've recently started testing the water with some sours and stouts...more of these to come soon.

Keg at Mikkeller Exmouth Market, 05/04/24. Hazed orange topped with a white head. Nose is bitter tropical fruits, dank chimes, grapefruit, orange zest, stoned fruits. Taste comprises lychee, mango, grass, stoned fruits, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness ... guessing a kiwi edge to them? Tidy IPA.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small but tidy pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin malts but delivering the requisite amount of creamy sweetness. Hops bring crisp pine, a light but obvious savoury skunk. Light crisp citrus into stronger stone fruits. Whisper of candy fruits. Might be a little Mosaic blueberry. Crisp finish. Bright breezy and, pretty fucken drinkable.

440ml can. Clear golden, big white head. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, resinous. Taste is citrusy, grapefruit, passionfruit, very resinous, piney, a little hop spice, sweet malts, caramel, finishes with a decent bitterness though it doesn't linger much. Medium bodied. Very nice WC IPA.

Black beer, thick and light tan head. Malty aroma. Flavour is all malt up front. Sweet, toasty, a little chocolatey. A little hop in the back but this is all about the malt and I'm here for it. Good body with a sweet, warming maltiness that's just all over the flavour and the finish. A simple but super drinkable porter.

1/3 pint, draught at Mother Kelly's N17. Deep black body, film-type layer leaving rings of lace down the glass. Inviting aromas of cocoa-chocolate and grain. Similar taste of cocoa chocolate with hints of toasted malts. A little backdrop of coffee, roasted. Pretty nice. (Tottenham Hale, London 15.03.2024).

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky grapefruit with minimal white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma, just hints of citrus and floral hops. In the mouth it starts off sweet and juicy, but with some underlying sharpness that gradually increases. Flavour is mainly citrus and grapefruit with hints of pineapple and tropical fruits. Finish is dry and slightly sticky. Not my kind of beer at all, but it’s reasonable.

Keg at Farmers Boy, St Albans, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, pine, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Didn't really notice the sabro, still a very drinkable pale ale.
