33cl can from Meny Søndersrød, Helgeroa. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with plenty of tropical fruits and citrus, mild malty notes and hints of pine. Moderate sweet with fresh fruity flavours and a nice bitterness. Refreshing, sessionable and quite enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Båtsmann Pale Ale Mosaic on 07 Dec 2017 at 18:26 - Score: 7

Can. Unclear brown body with a moderate sized beige head. Nice aroma of malt, toast, caramel, dry fruit and a bit spicy. Flavor is rather sweet caramel malt with hint of chocolate, nuts, dry fruit, yeast, toast and moderate but balanced bitterness. Fine body and long lasting sweet malty aftertaste. I’m actually quite impressed by this brew, it's sweet and malty as expected from a barley wine kinda beer, but with this low alcohol level I was expecting something sticky sweet and mostly caramel bomb. That's not the case here at all, its sweet as it supposed to be, but not sticky, its actually in a fine balance and I could easily be fooled by the alcohol level. Very smooth, tasty and pleasant.

Bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. A lightly foggy golden colored beer with a fingerthick white head. Grains, grass, some hay and a metallic touch in the aroma. It's quite dry and bitter on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Medium bodied, with grains, grass and hay in the flavor. Supposed to have some ginger, but that wasn't detected. Lasting dry and bitter finish. A decent one that doesn't impress in any way. 170610
