Crisp, grassy and slightly floral with some peachy tropical fruits, bitterness, hints of rye and dry notes. Not quite as good as the OG, but still pretty crushable

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear copper colour, small head. Toasty nose with some earth. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Chewy dark toast, aromatic roasted grains. Some earth and tobacco. Mid bitter finish.

On tap at Luppolo 12, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is super dank, with resinous hops, huge pine, pot, and some oiliness. Flavour is super dank and piney, with resinous hops, pine, and oily palate. What a killer WCIPA. Fantastic.

Pours a moderately hazy deep golden. Doesn't get much head, and it disappears relatively quickly, leaving no lacing. Nice freshness and average intensity in the aroma: a not too timid cerealy malts base, a quite simple fruity profile with peach most prominent, citric notes (tangerine most noticeable), a touch of herbal (not piney/resinous) freshness. Taste notes as per aroma: a significant malty presence (at least per style), simple but nicely fresh hop profile, good enough taste definition. Low to medium sweetness and low to medium bitterness, balanced with none standing out in both taste and aftertaste. Light to medium bodied, light to medium carbonation; quite good drinkability and a hint of smoothness, though the beer feels more bodied than expected for the abv (not necessarily a flaw). Very much ok.

Pours golden or slightly paler with a bit of haziness, still transparent enough too see through it. Medium sized, relatively dense white head; ok retention, quite nice lacing. Pretty good freshness and intensity in the aroma: citric notes (tangerine most noticeable, grapefruit also in the mix) with a hint of prickliness to them, peach, perhaps a hint of mango, nice grassy freshness with just a hint of pine/resin. There's a bit of malty sweetness/backbone in the mix, though i can't pick something specific. Tastes pretty good too, again in a nicely fresh and intense way; there's decent taste complexity, with a nice interplay of hop flavours (taste notes as per aroma), nothing really dominant. A hint of crackery malts base. Some malt sweetness, but quite neutral tastewise as the aroma suggested. As for balance: medium sweetness, medium or slightly above medium bitterness; balanced mouth, a light bitter edge in a dry aftertaste. Medium body, average to high, light bubbled carbonation; very lively in the mouth, maybe a bit too heavy/burpy. All in all still a pretty easy drinker for the abv. Nice one.

Pours a slightly pale golden, transparent with just a hint of haziness. Low to medium sized white head, good enough retention and nice lacing. Quite good intensity and freshness in the aroma: fruitiness upfront with grapefruit taking the main stage, mango, lighter tangerine hints, a resinous touch and a hint of half-crispy half-spicy rye character. There's some malty sweetness in the taste though i can't track anything specific; anyway, the malt backbone is quite neutral (no aromas) but evident in taste. Bitterness is fairly intense too. Good overall balance in both taste and aftertaste, where residual sweetness and bitterness are both present. Taste notes as per aroma, though the spicy rye character seems to get quite lost; the beer is relatively dry overall but maybe not as much as expected from a rye ipa. Medium body, average fine bubbled carbonation; nicely lively and tickly on the tongue, decently smooth and easygoing though a bit too burpy. Good one on the overall, not as impressive as some of their offerings though.

Pours a slightly pale golden with light haziness to it. Average to slightly below average sized white head, good enough retention, nice lacing. A quite vivid, fresh feeling aroma: quite interesting hop profile with white grapes and mango upfront, plus very light citric hints and a not too timid grassy, slighlty resinous note. A delicate malty background of straw and white bread. Taste notes circa as per aroma: maltiness in the background, but overall not too shy with a bit of fragrant feeling to it, fresh feeling hop notes as per aroma with grassy, slightly resinous notes showing up a bit more in finish and aftertaste, plus, the slightest prickly hops touch. Sweetness and bitterness are both slightly amped up for a pilsner, but still not very strong; balanced mouth, a light bitter edge in finish and aftertaste. Light body with average, delicate and light-bubbled carbonation; pleasantly and delicately lively, although slightly less quaffable than usual per style (meaning just a tad heavier). Overall: a refreshing and quite interesting hoppy profile on a delicate classic pilsner base. Very nice one.
