Pours dirty translucent brown, with a tiny rocky head. Aroma is acetic notes of wine vinegar, plums, almonds and fruity tobacco, as well as tannins and oak barrels. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is acetic notes of apple cider vinegar, plums, cherries, almonds, cocoa and tobacco, as well as tannins and oak barrels.

Quite nice and tasty at this alcohol level.
Hazed amber pour and a fine head.
Ok intensity in the aroma.
Mellow sweetness and a fine mild acidity.
Pleasant carbonated. Easy to drink.
Toffee, bready, fruity and some yeast in the flavor.

Can from Gulating. Unclear pale golden body under a medium sized white head. Aroma has smoke, cured meat, kveik and acidity. Taste is quite unusually and almost unpleasant at the first sips. Smoked malt, smoked meat, kveik, juniper and sour malt close to lemon acidity in taste. Body feels rather thin and unbalanced. But halfway through the can the flavors seems to blend together more, and even if it feels a bit odd and thin bodied it makes more sense. At least this is a really interesting brew, especially when seen in the context of the original beer, Vasstronde'e. Sure, not a beer for everyone this, but glad to have tasted it properly.

Can. Unclear orange-golden with a small white head. Intense aroma with orange zest, dried oregano, smoke, some diacetyl and pale malts. Medium body, semi-sweet, almost cardboardy, softly carbonated. Orange zest, dried oregano, juniper, pale malts, generic citrus, woodyness and some diacetyl in the flavor. Not very pleasant this one. 250418

Farge: Uklar, lys kastansjefarget med lyst beige skum
Aroma: Sødmefull, fruktig og kompleks med lette røyktoner. Her er det vandring i fuktig skog og lyng, det er bark, bær og einer. Det er karamell, lær og røkt skinke.
Smaker: Det er den søte maltbasen som driver ølet frem. De 10% gir en røslig kropp, men den er aldri boozy og gjemmer alkoholen godt.
Igjen er det skog og mark gjennom den fruktige maltsødmen med karamell og stenfrukt som fremtredende, hvor sistenevnte nok kommer fra kveiken.
Igjen er det noe som minner om røkt skinke, røkt soya eller aspik, men det er trolig fra røyken i grua som i kombinasjon med det sødmefulle maltet, einerlågen og kveiken.
