Poured a golden amber with soft white head. Sweet field of corn and dirt aroma. Bitter grainy corn taste.

Small white head shrinks into thin white ring. Yellow body. Sweetish vaguely caramelly and maybe grassy alcoholic aroma. Sweetish grassy caramelly malt taste. Dry, grassy aftertaste. The hoppy background runs throughout the entire taste. This isn’t a great beer, but it’s not bad, either. It’s the hops that make it, really. (0.33l bottle.)

[Bottled, thanks oh6gdx] Mahogany colour. Papery apple aroma. Sweetish and fruity with mellow mouthfeel. Very poorly made I’m afraid. The dominating flavour is paper mash, No bitterness. Looks nice, but looks can deceive.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal, Stavanger. Ingredients include maize (corn) and rice. 10.8 degrees Plato. ABV is 4.3%. Very dark colour, nearly black, ruby in the highlights. Low head. Very moderate malty aroma, hints of coffee. Flavour is surprisingly watery and bland, drinking it after the excellent Nøgne Ø and Nørrebro beers obviously didn’t help. "Boiled" notes, wet cardboard and dust abound. Disappointing.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color lager with a nice bug white foamy head. Aroma is pretty bland with a light touch of skunkyness, which isn’t surprising considering the mileage it had to do before reaching home. Taste of crisp hops is pretty subtle with a faint malt presence. I had a whole lot worse but I definitely had much better beer.
