Can. At Kometen. A two finger dense white head leaves lacing over a hazy golden body. Grapefruit and pine cones in the aroma, with a hint of grass and pale malts. It's medium to full bodied, softly carbonated and gently bittered. Grapefruit, pine cones and a hint of tropical fruityness. Perhaps a hint of pale malts. Citrusy finish. Refreshing and quite tasteful. 240730

--Canned, from Vinmonopolet, Aker Brygge, Oslo.-- Cloudy straw colour, mid sized head. Aroma of papaya, passionfruit and grass. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and grainy with passionfruit, gooseberries and guava. Low bitterness.

Can. It pours an unclear orange-golden body under a small, dense, white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is grapefruity and lightly piney, some tropical fruit notes too. Not much maltyeness going on. Some alcohol, but very subdued. It's medium to full-bodied, smoothly, softly carbonated, and mostly on the dry side, with a fine bitterness. The flavor follows the same pattern, grapefruity hops dominates. Some tropical and piney hints, a touch of alcohol, and just a hint of pale malts. Medium length finish. A quite pleasant one, quenching too. 240706

440 ml can, as Disko St. Ruby Barrel Aged Quadrupel, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 11%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate to small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, solvent, fusel, alcohol, brown sugar. The flavour is not quite as sweet as I feared, and somewhat better balanced than the aroma. Notes of brown sugar, oak, dark dried fruits and caramel, hints of mild spices. Low bitterness.

October 2019: 330 ml can, as Disko Brutus Bayer, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%, IBU 25. Reddish brown colour, enormous beige head that lasts "forever", takes quite a while before I reach the beer underneath. Aroma of malts, brown bread and caramel. Malty flavour too, brown bread and caramel again. Fair enough.

440 ml can, as Disko Grande Vega Quadrupel, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 11.0%. Hazy brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of caramel, alcohol, molasses and brown sugar. Sweet boozy flavour, molasses, fusel, caramel, noticeable bittering hops. Unrefined, far from Trappist quality.
