Hazy deep golden color with a quite huge white head. A bit to much unpleasant yeast in the aroma. Medium body and a bit rich carbonation. Fizzy texture. An ok mellow sweetness. Some banana, fruity and malty flavor. A decent flavor, but this beer was kind of destroyed by a unpleasant aroma and a to high carbonation.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 02.06.16. Cloudy dark orange. Diminishing beige head. Aroma and taste of smoked malt, ash and hay. Not overwhelming and easily drinkable. Also some fruitiness and hops. A bit waterish mouthfeel.

Big beige head doesn’t last. Clear brownish red body. Fruity raisiny aroma with freshly cut wood and resin notes. Dry resiny fruity toasty taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish resiny peas and fruit aftertaste with metallic notes. Nice, drinkable, interesting. Not your average pale ale. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City. Batch #31.)

Biggish white head doesn’t last. Hazy opaque deep yellow body. Fruity orangey peas aroma with spicy coriander and dry tobacco (?!?) notes. Dryish earthy mealy fruity taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish orangey mealy aftertaste with spicy notes. Doesn’t taste like a hefeweizen at all to me, but I quite like it. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City. Batch #295.)

Big white head doesn’t last. Slightly hazy golden yellow body. Peas, resin and straw aroma with mealy notes. Sweetish mealy floral strawy taste with earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy peas aftertaste with sulphury resiny notes. Interesting. It certainly has character. Not totally convinced, but want to try this again. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City. Batch #25.)

Shared bottle in Værnes with KL and KA 25.05.16. Muddy peach colour. Not much head. Refreshing aroma and taste of citrus, with some coriander, clove and citrus zest. Good drinkability.

KØLF 111215. Deep golden-orange/Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, fruit. Flavour is pine, grapefruit, malt, fruit, citrus, floral. bitter finish. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske - batch 14 - 500ml fra Gulating Larvik. Delt med Håvard I Tyrihansveien 18 Jan 15. Mørk amber. Lavt skum. God karamellaroma. Smaken preget av karamell med en anelse røyk I bakgrunnen. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert. Er skjemmet av for mye kullsyre. Hadde sikkert passet fint til mat.
