500 ml bottle. Almost clear amber body with a small, fast disappearing, lacing off-white head. Aroma is light caramel malt and mild fruity. Flavor is also rather light and mild with smooth malt, moderate fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste with fruit and some more pronounced bitterness. Drinkable but not particular memorable.

Nice refreshing ale.
Clear copper color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body with a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Caramel, citric, some marmalade and fruity.

Lukt: Røykt sild og noe krydder.
Utseende: Mørk brun, tilnærmet sort.
Skum/kullsyre: Tynt skum, heng langs kant.
Smak: Vassen, malt, noe røyk i avslutningen.

Fra flaske på Mi2, Cardinal des-15: mørkerød mahognyfarge med fint skum som varer. Kraftig aroma og smak av Stjørdalsmalten - det lukter røkt fisk og nedbrent speiderbål. Samme med smaken. Tynn, og like usjarmerende som trønderbart.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 07.12.15. Muddy dark brown. Small, pale brown head. Strong aroma of smoked mackerel and burnt print cards. Taste of lapsang souchong. The smoked mackerel returns in aftertaste in a watered and decaying version. Difficult to finish the glass.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of smoke, ash. Tastes slightly sweet. Thin bodied, watery. I usually like beer brewed with smoked malts, but this one is too one-dimensional.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 07.12.15. Pale copper amber. Small beige head. Aroma of malt and cherries. The latter was porbably not intended. Taste of malt and caramel. Still with a hint of berries in aftertaste.Low bitterness.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Roasty aroma, hints of smoke. Roasty and smokey dry flavour, not easy drinking. Not my cup of tea at all.
