Cask at the Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of hop, fruit, and very light coriander. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Mill, Cambridge. Light golden and clear, with a spotty white head and a fair bit of lacing. Light aroma: I’m not getting much coriander - there’s a little but it’s not prominent - although the main characteristic is herbal, plus there’s some gentle citrus hoppy notes. Taste is pleasantly bitter, although it’s a bit jarring on the tongue. Sweeter in the finish, then there’s coriander and wine gum on the aftertaste. Refreshing. Not perfect but an inoffensive thirst quencher.

One-third pint, cask ale at Murderers. Off-white head, diminishing. Dotted spots on the glass. Clear warm golden body. Mild aroma juicy malts. Taste of fruity caramel with a short-lived bitter sweet end. Soft in the mouth. Accepted. (Norwich 08.07.2017).

Handpull cask at the Cambridge Blue. Dark gold and clear, with a tiny bit of loose off-white head. Leafy hops, golden syrup, tangerine peel on the nose. Bittersweet taste with a citrussy sour flavour and a heavy acrid note. Long finish with woody, fruity and medicinal characteristics to the aftertaste. Body is oily and flat. Not all bad, but an example of a good brewery struggling with what is (in my opinion) a difficult style, especially in cask.

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy coriander flavor with hints of citrus. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy citrus finish.

Keg tap at the Cambridge Blue. Creamy yellow, cloudy. Lovely and sharp spices in the smell, with ground coriander and tropical fruit leading the way. Sweet taste with a light balancing bitterness. Medium carbonation with more coriander in the aftertaste. My goodness this a lovely beer.
