For me, it was a perfect imperial ipa, the first positif sign is that the alcool is not that strong, well integrated, smooth, rich malt, touch of plum/apricot, classical hop at the final, well brewed for the style that it is not all the time like that, 17.04.20, at Epalinges.

Personally, it was a good surprise for me, a good union between the Belgian and the American knowledge, aromatic and tasteful ipa, fruity with a small side of peach, dry malt, hop and citrus. This one is your real frien for the summer, 15.04.2020.

I must have gotten a bad batch or a leaky bottle, because mine poured dark with absolutely zero head or carbonation. THe bockish notes were there, but this wasn’t a cask ale so it was pretty much shit, to put it nicely. A couple of sips then threw it out.

Backlog September 2011. Clear amber body with some floaters under a small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt, dry fruit and vinous alcohol. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, brown sugar and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice, strong Belgium beer.

It is a quadrupel trappe hidden, it is my impression. Similar and even though a good beer, solid quadrupel, warm alcool, sugar, side of plum and autumnal spicies, malty, hop at the final. 07.08.2020, drinking it at Bonfol, simply enjoying the life

Great mix of a strong golden belgian, and a belgian IPA. Lots of yeasty fruitiness that goes great with some sharp spicy hops. Reminds me alot of the chouffe ipa. THis one seems a little hoppier though, either way, an outstanding beer, and i enjoyed it alot!

Pours an attractive dark amber with a substantial off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, nuts, raisins, somewhat sugary, some alcohol warmth. Heavy body. Tasty quad.
