Clear dark brown to black beer, big irregular beige to brown head, a bit adhesive. Aroma: all peated whisky, not much else, a bit earthy, good roast, smoky touch, ok. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast, very smoky, peated whisky, slightly sweet, a bit of chlorine, alcohol, bitter, some dark chocolate. Aftertaste: bitter, earthy, smoky, some caramel, lots of dark chocolate, pretty earthy, smoky bitter finish.

Clear orange beer, creamy white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty start, sweet impression, yeasty, caramel, ripe banana, earthy, some tobacco. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish first, a little malty, bitter, a bit resinous, hoppy, chemical bitterness. Aftertaste: pretty sugary, malty, grains, ripe banana, a little bitter, sourish finish, meh.

Bottle shared at tasting. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, peat. Flavor is malts, dark roasted malts, peat, band aid / iodine, bitter. The peat is an addition in this beer instead of being overpowering everything. Very good.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy yellowish head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, a bit malty, grains, ripe banana. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet, very malty, grains, a little bitter, soft roast, some chocolate, caramel. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, a bit spicy, yeasty, alcohol, sweet touch, sugary, ok but not great. I was definitely hoping for more chocolate.

Bottle shared at tasting. Murky brownish color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma is indeed barley wine mixed with apple brandy. Beer is exactly as the label says, I like that.
