Description
Breckenridge Brewery opened its doors in 1990 in the mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. It’s the third-oldest craft brewery in the state. In 1992, our second brewpub in downtown Denver opened. In the summer of 2015 a new production brewery was opened in Littleton. After 26 years, the focus is still on creating well-balanced, approachable, and interesting beers while also creating memorable visitor experiences. In 2016 Breckenridge Brewery became a unit of AB InBev.

Pour is a lemonade lookalike with a large white head. Aroma is lemon juice and cracker malt. Flavor is the same lots of lemon with a creamy mouthfeel. It's a shandy, not great not terrible.

The label has evolved a bit but the beer is still 9% abv I see. Found a stovepipe can at Downtown Fine Spirits in Colorado Springs early in the summer, sampling it tonight. My Chimay glass is in place (don't ask) and I tilt the can. The view is a hazy gold-yellow liquid with a decent top of completely white, though sparse, foam. I smell mostly citrus with a bit of pine. The taste is not bad, more adventurous than expected. Plenty of hops, a good direction to go I believe, orange rind, malt, grain, a bit of tangerine sweetness along with some grapefruit. Imperial NE IPAs are evolving and for the better in my opinion.

Slightly opaque dark yellow, no foam. Peach aroma. Taste is sweet peach, a little citrusy flavor, with a little wheat beer funk at the finish.
