Can. Very pale orange with a white head. Gentle orange, pine needle and cracker aroma. A little more grunt upon a taste, with pine and some herbal notes creeping up towards the dryish and fairly bitter finish. Tightly wound but not bad.

Can. Pale golden amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, light breadcrust. Tastes very much as it smells. Clean but fruit, pine and some malt presence go nicely together. But bitterness is pretty meek.

Can. Misted gold with a ~cm of white head. 6+ Restrained but focused citrus and light bread aroma with some minor tropical and pine notes. So it tastes. Nice richness in the pale malt but it doesn't stop the fruit and then some resin coming through towards a bitter finish that's more insistent than firm. Classy rather than shouty.

Pours black with a large lasting off-white head.
Nose shows cocoa, bready and toasty malt, soft earthy hops and nutty malt. Tempting!
Flavours include more cocoa, dry roasted malt, dank earthy hops. Finishes a bit weakly.

Pours gold with a large lasting head.
Nose shows pine, resinous hops, grapefruit and soft caramel.
Flavours include more pine, sweet clean malt, resinous hops and a gentle bitterness that doesn't quite rein in the malt.

Pours red-tinged pale amber with a rapidly dissipating head.
Nose shows soft cherry, lemon, vanilla. Muted.
Flavours include soft cherry, a very gentle acidity, faint lemon pith. Again, very muted.
Body feels a bit watery. Very quaffable.

Can. Amber, a good cm of white head. Aroma of caramel, pine, light bread, some floral notes. Pretty much how it tastes - perhaps some pepper and grass at the bitter finish. All very tenor register but impressively harmonious.

Day 21
Reckless Red IPA 6.5%
It is a cloudy cool winter day in Australia today so I thought I’d crack this beauty. Reddish amber with thick fluffy beige foam and a big peppery malty aroma with piney hop notes.
Medium to full bodied and smooth. This is a bitter piney IPA with some peppercorn, tobacco leaf and biscuit notes. It hits the spot, tasty.

Can. Misted golden amber with nearly a cm of white head. Pungent under-ripe tropical fruit aroma with some citrus & berries and a fair bit of pine. Perhaps a little sweeter than guessed but nice fruity-but-savoury notes before somewhat resinous bitterness. Good, full of character.

Can. Mid brown with a pale beige head. Aroma of pine, oranges, mocha, light bread. Moderately sweet with sweet coffee & oranges before a little pine and bitterness that maybe seems a little light on because the finish is a little sweet.
