Tap at OF. Deep amber-brown body. Thin, steady beige head. Big, sweet, malty Brown Ale. Creamy brown malts, touches of toffee, brown sugar, caramel. The hops check in, give it some nice balance. Not quite World Class, but a very enjoyable beer.

Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Pours a surprising brown color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, malt and fruit. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, grainy malt and slight fruit. The finish is roasty up front with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent "Brown IPA" overall.

Reviewed from notes taken during the Great Nebraska Beer Festival. Aroma has a nice, moderately strong, roast coffee aroma with some malt notes of light roast and moderate chocolate. A hint of green pepper with some light dark fruit esters. Pours a dark brown with a small, thick, tan head with decent retention. Flavor is similar to the aroma with quite a bit of freshly roasted coffee. Medium light roast malt note with moderate chocolate notes. Medium low bitterness with a light astringency. Low dark fruit esters, mostly plum and berries. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium light carbonation. Medium low astringency and low alcohol warmth. An alright coffee beer, but I prefer my coffee to have a character more similar to a cold pressed coffee. The astringency was a bit higher than I would prefer. Malt balance was really nice as were the low dark fruit esters.

Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light cornish. Grassy. Bitter, cornish and light grassy. Ends dry and bitter.

Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and breadish. Bitter, breadish and toasted malty. Dry, toasted and bitter finish.

Pours clear light golden with quickly disappearing white head. CLear aroma of yeast, hops and paper. Light, sweetish flavour of malt, with notes of hops and subtle paperlike touches. Bitter, hoppy aftertaste, without the typical paperlike notes. OK but rather different from other beers of this type I have tasted.

Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, grainy, spices and a little straw. Flavour is malt, fruit, grainy, straw, little sweet, hop, phenols, little marzipan? and a little bitter.
