Bottle. An almost clear one, deep golden in color, still and lightly oily. Honey driven aroma with some flower and herb. Grassy. It's full to medium bodied, sweet and warming, with lots of honey flavor. Herbal and flowery, and a bit alcoholic. Long finish. A bit rough, but quite decent. 230311

Bottle shared by Matt. Thanks! Shiny dense copper appearance. Big rich honey front. Aroma is sweet honey and soft maple. Not picking up much berry apart from maybe some added sweetness to an already sturdy bill. Little is a lot with this, but it is most excellent.

A small pour from 750ml (thx, Matt!) @ Matt's new place. Appearance: clear copper with no head. Aroma: quite complex, lots of wood, very sweet, lots of nice honey, quite boozy. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet, loads of honey. Overall: amazing!

Sample courtesy of the Danish boys via Grumbo, cheers all! Amber gold colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of honey, herbal, spice. Taste is sweet, honey, floral, herbal notes, sugar and spice. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet warming spice finish. Quite sippable.

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours almost clear amber copper with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is honey, floral, lavender, forest fruits. Quite sweet with light bitterness. Medium body, sticky, low carbonation. Enjoyable.

ABV: 13.0%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is honey, barrel - oak, earthy, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, caramel, barrel - oak, raisin. Body is medium to heavy, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230114]
