750ml bottle as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe, drunk at home. Light golden and clear. Aroma with honey and herbs notes, overripe citrus, some compost. Sweet taste with souring vinous notes toward the finish. Thin, flat, oily body. It’s drinkable but it’s got some off flavours. I’m not particularly enamoured.

Clear amber to gold coloured mead, adhesive, leaving some tears in the glass. Aroma: honey, obviously, a bit yeasty, some apples and apple juice, bit of a sugary impression. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet, a little bitter, some tannins, apple juice, sugary touch. Aftertaste: lots of alcohol, sweet, soft acidity, honey in the finish.

Medovinárna. Coppery color. Pungent aroma, caramelly, herbs, homeyish, lovely. Lovely taste, highly drinkable, lean, wild herb and caramel in a pleasant honeyish body as well, light alcohol in the finish. Herbal and fermentation touches show up later. Tasty, very tasty!

75cl bottle from Gdansk airport. Pours pale golden without any head. Aroma of honey with ginger - some floral and herbal notes and hints of chili. Sweet and a bit peculiar, but fairly drinkable.
