Description

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average, frothy, white head. Wheaty, fruity aroma, hints of banana and pear with an ester touch. Taste is slightly tart, frowsty yeasty, cautious fruity hints of apple. There’s a lot of better ones out there.

500ml bottle. Hazy brown colour with average, frothy, off-white head. Slightly unpleasant, ester-like fruit notes, apple, baked apple, dark malty background. Similar taste, rather flat carbonation. Not my taste.

330ml served from tap at Black Lotus, old town in Rethymno. Orange coloured body with a wheat haze. White head, dotted spots to the glass. Sweet wheaty fruits to the nose, subdued spiced. Banana, citrus and wheat to the taste buds. Quite well bodied and not too sweet. Decent version of the style (13.09.2013).

Yormas bayrisch export lager beer 5.4%. Pale gold thin layer of bubbles. Well it’s not terrible but not good either. The malt is a bit thin and it’s more carbonation than hop on the finish but there is some lemon flavour. Ok average but lemon on finish is decent
