Description
Yards has been brewing Philly's beer since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in Manayunk all the way up to our current location at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. And we couldn't have done it without your support through the years. Our beers always have and always will be brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned for the hard working people of Philadelphia and beyond.

12oz bottle. First of all gets bonus points for being in a bottle. Really smooth and enjoyable beer. Not sure what differentiate this from a Dunkler Bock in most any way, but perhaps a little smoother than most Bocks. Bready, creamy, malt centered beer. Delicious.

14 oz draft at The Pike Cafe, Reading, PA. Aroma and flavor or a mirror. Nice pineapple and mango with a soft malt body. Almost no bitterness

Can from my father: pours dark brown with big brownish head. Aroma is pine, roast, chocolate. Taste is lightly bitter, roasty. Mellow for a BIPA. Fine.

16 ounce can. Brassy gold color. Small bubbly white head. Grainy, maple syrup aroma. Light grainy malt flavor hints at vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup. Thin, light bodied. Sort of reminiscent of French toast. Flavor is out of character for a light bodied brew. OK, but nothing special.
