Description
Yards has been brewing Philly's beer since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in Manayunk all the way up to our current location at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. And we couldn't have done it without your support through the years. Our beers always have and always will be brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned for the hard working people of Philadelphia and beyond.

Watery. Heard they weren't happy with the batch this year.

12 ounce bottle. Barely translucent cola brown color. Smooth, creamy tan head. Smoky roasted malt nose. Smoky, roasted malt flavor. Hints of coffee and cocoa. Thin bodied as stouts go. Still, quite flavorful and complex. Some sweet notes in middle, but mostly this is relatively dry. Full of love and other good stuff.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with large spongy beige head, faint floral hops aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter lightly piney taste, smooth body, longish finish. Very smooth and mellow thanks to the rye.

12 ounce bottle. CLear copper color. Large rocky beige head. Spicy toasted malt nose. Soft, silky toasted malt flavor. Notes of caramel and herbal hops. Easy drinking and very "English". Earthy malt and spicy hops in finish round this ale out nicely.
