Dark golden beer with little head. Caramel, nuts and port aromas, with some alcohol present. Sweetish flavour with some light alcohol too. Very warm and round mouthfeel.

Sweet. Roasted taste. Dry finish. Not the best porter there is, but a pleasant dessert beer. Bottlefound in Blå Rock Café, Tromsø, Norway.

500ml bottle from Utobeer. Orange/coppe r colour, thin off white head. Nice spicey toffee aroma with choc malt coming through, bit of candy sugar. Lacks real depth in mouth, but finish is lasting with toffee, choc and herby hop

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a nice beige head. Sweet malt aroma with slight roasty malts. Roasty malt flavor that lingers. Slight coffee. Medium bodied. More like a light stout.

Pour is a jet black with a nice size tan head. Aroma is a roasted coffee smell. Flavor is a bit weak but you do get your chocolate and coffee but again a bit on the weakside for a porter. Still A decent brew and available pretty much at any 2-bit liquor store.

Pour is a bright golden with a white head. Aroma very malty and clean. Flavor is deffinatly a bit on the malty side with a nice flowery hop finish. Those looking for a lager that is not a macro or swill this could be for you. All lagers should be made like this.

12 oz bottle. I love pale ales and Samuel Smith’s is a good quality, reliable choice for me. The aroma is light, but nice.. Pours with a thin head that sticks around awhile. Light bodied, average carbonation, malty with a pleasant hoppy finish. Well balanced, this beer is a fine choice.

Bottle in Glasshouse Stores, Soho. Chestnut beer with lasting cream colour head. Some nice hops with tobaccco/tea flavours. Some boiled sweet flavour in the mouth. I quite like the hop/malt balanced finish

Pour was a dark copper with a white head. Aroma was a dark fruit, almost a port wine. Flavor is toffee malts with lots of plums and other dark fruits. Leaves a nice coating on the tounge as you swallow. Very nice and interisting brew.

Keg at Anchor Tap, southwark. Dark copper/brown colour with thick creamyhead, some nice hop aroma, but dull malt, bit dead some bitterness but really dull and disappointing
