bottle from Biermarket.de. Pale yellow, tall white head. Hoppy nose. Light-bodied, malty base, shy resiny-herbal hoppy flavours, with a touch of carboard.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with no head. Aroma brings out a great dark dried fruit character, lots of bready caramel malt, and some toffee. Flavour is boozy, malty, and sweet, with loads of caramel malt, bready toffee, alcohol, and dark dried red fruits. Sweet and malty, with plenty of alcohol burn. A little harsh, but quite tasty, especially as it warms.

0.33l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before May 2020. Clear, pale golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, a little grassy aroma of grains, some wort and a touch of straw. Quite sweet, minimally bitter, slightly grassy taste of grains, wort, corn flakes and traces of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little grassy and slightly worty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Classic Alkoholfreies, drinkable but not really a pleasure.
