Bottle (sample) at Bjarke Bundgaard Tasting, HavnensVinOgTobakhus 2023. Pours clear dark chestnut with large white head. Aroma is intense cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. Taste is very sweet and faint bitter. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and very sweet with intense cinnamon and cardamom (but not as intense as in the aroma). It's a fun beer. It is almost like drinking liquid brunkager (traditional Danish Christmas cookie)

Bottle.Dark Mahoney colour with medium head.First of all l thought this was a barley wine taste dark dried fruits caramel toasted hops nice by style beer and malty sweet finish.

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with notes of smoke. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of smoke, malt and yeast. Smoky and roasty aftertaste with dusty and estery notes. 12 years past the BBD but still cool. Thank you, my friend, for this gem!

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, coarse brief brown head. Aroma of cherry chocolate and coffee. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate and mild notes of dark fruit, some earth and coffee. Long bitter finish.

ABV: 9.0%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, burnt, brunsviger, burnt - caramelized malt, brown sugar, light butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, brunsviger, sweet malt, dark malt, brown sugar, butter - cream touch. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
