dark orange or brown/golden, small white head
malty aroma, fainter notes of dark berries or figs or something like that. a bit heavy sweet fruity aroma.
flavor is slightly fruity lager with malts still dominating, bittersweet ending with fruit peely notes. somewhat esay drinking but also sweet fruity ish, so not refreshing, more like a somewhat sweet guldbajer.
bought (by my dad and gifted to me - my name is Dennis) at ALE ølfestival, cph.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a small, creamy beige head. Odd, skewed toffee/roast aroma with a buttery touch. Medium body, intense licorice notes with some tobacco. No real bitterness. Odd and rustic as per usual from this producer. 150526

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a creamy yet roughish, beige head. A nose of roast, English licorice, tar end the brewery's own smoked malts. Medium body, bending towards watery. Flavor has all of the above paired with some chewing tobacco. Subdued bitterness. A typical rustic Refsvindinge brew. 100526

330ml bottle. Opalescent, auburn colour with small, creamy, fading, white head. Slightly nutty, caramel malty and minimally spicy aroma, a touch of chestnut, nougat. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally nutty and herbal, a touch of chestnut, nougat, allspice, "sweaty", almost cheesy overtones.
Watery texture, rather indifferent palate, fine, soft carbonation.
Weak and cautious, rather unspecific flavours - so-so.
