Description
We are a small craft beer micro brewery based in East Lothian. We were born in Pencaitland but now brew our artisan beers in our own custom built 10hL brewery in West Barns. Both our directors are Haddington born and bred, our brand design is by a Haddington designer, our grain is sourced from Drem and our spent grain is eaten by the coos in Athelstaneford! We are extremely proud of our East Lothian heritage and use the quality produce of the county where possible to produce our superior quality beers.
Our company slogan is drink, blether, be happy and we have developed our beers and branding with that in mind.
We absolutely love what we do and what we create and aim to put a smile on the handsome faces of our customers from our bright and eye catching branding and Scottish slang themed names through to the handcrafted fresh, crisp, tasty beers we produce! Slàinte!

Bottle 94 of 150 from their website. It pours darkest brown to black with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, unctuous, intoxicating Jack Daniels vibe, big sweet vanilla vibes, candy cola bottles, honey on toast, touch of chocolate and roast. The taste is dry roast initially, bitter - sweet, big vanilla, America whisky, spicy, Jack Daniels with coke, earthy, toasty, charry, honeyed grains and candy cola bottles with a touch of warmth on the finish. Medium+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Novel. Big JD character for sure!

Can from Westhill Sevice Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent frothy beige head. The aroma has sweet tangy raspberry, cacao, plain chocolate, nutty, coffee grounds and hazelnut praline. The taste is dry, bitter hard roast, earthy, coffee grounds, umami, tart raspberry, slightly jammy and a touch of nuttiness. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice aroma, but perhaps a touch harsher on the taste.
