Bottle. It's a lightly hazy golden colored beer with a finger-thick white head. Some lacing. Rather bready aroma, with some fruityness. Grapefruit and pine cones. It's medium bodied and semi-sweet on the palate, with a nice carbonation and bitterness. Bready flavor with grapefruit and pine cones. Some grass and flowery notes. Way too bready this one. Can @ Patricks. Clear, deep golden under a huge, creamy off-white head. Aroma is kinda fruity with yeast. Nothing to do with mango and citric fruit, more in the direction of ripe apple and banana, at least closer to that kind of fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet, very soft, slightly toasted malt, fruity Belgium yeast and marshmallows. Medium body and same aftertaste. Unusually, even as a dark Saison. No very close to a regular saison really, but have something distinct Belgium flavors. Not super interesting but smooth and food friendly.

Bottle. An almost clear one, deep red in color, with a minimal off-white head. Cherry and almond pits, some dark dried fruit and a faint bready touch. Strangely enough some coffee hints too. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Cherry, almond pits, dark dried fruit and a coffee or cascara hint. Some bready hints. Medium length finish. Not the most exciting beer in the world, but there's a twist to it I like. 221102

Bottle. A big off-white head disappears within seconds, leaving an unclear orange colored body. The aroma is sourish- and mango-driven, but in a sourish, unpleasant way. Bread dough, woody-like mango notes and some gooseberry notes. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, with a very soft carbonation. Mango, dough and some gooseberry in the flavor. Some lemony notes. Medium length finish. Uninteresting, doughy and quite dead this one. 221102

0,33 flaske fra frukt- og grønnsakavdelinga på Fristeriet, hjemme helt-alene-fest: brunlig kobberfarge og intet skum - ser ikke særlig appetittelig ut. Aroma og smak er i samme gaten, dette er småsurt og uinspirerende. Det ville opp men jeg tvang det ned. Kan det ikke snart bli slutt på denne h... mangoen i øl???
