Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. An attractive pale amber pour with a tight white head; floral aroma; dry floral taste with a lasting herbal bitterness. A straightforward, very drinkable blonde ale, showing that good summer beers don't have to taste of citrus.

Handpull cask at Claret & Ale, Croydon. Mid-gold, clear, uneven film of white head. Hay, citrus peel, touches of TCP on the nose. Bittersweet clean taste, with chewy yeasty flavours near the finish. Watery body. Very basic but does the trick.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Thw description is pretty much spot on so I won:t repeat it. Would just add that it has a frothy white head and a long finish. Flat carb. Better than I expected. Not making me horny or anything but a refreshing bitter.

Gravicask at Tuckers Maltings Beer Festival. Shiny surface, clingy lacing, deep mahogany coloured body. Jam-like aroma. Marmalade flavours, hints of toffee, biscuit and dark berries. Sweet malt-fruity ending. Fine bodied. Nice sipper, rather sweet in the long run. (Newton Abbot 27.04.2017).
