50cl bottle from a local garden centre. A cloudy pale amber pour with a billowing white head, that falls back quickly; aroma of damp straw; biscuity body, with some yeast and sweet grains; and a light grassy bitterness with a trace of lemon. Itโ€™s unusual to find a bottle conditioned bitter at such a low ABV, and unfortunately this isnโ€™t a good example.

Malty, fruity nose with a taste to match, nice blend with a semi-sweet maltiness giving way to a slightly bitter and drying finish.
