Bottle: Copper/orange pour is hazy with a creamy sand colored head. Lots of sticky lacing. Nose is somewhat muted, at least initially. As it warms piney and tropical fruit notes take over. Some caramel too. At frist the flavor is soft for a DIPA; caramel, piney, and tropical fruits. More pine resin... reminds me of Blue spruce. Seems like the hops may have faded a bit, I’d really like to try this again fresh, but it has a good balance of flavor overall.

Bomber - I don’t normally jump on buying an american strong, but I tend to like Marble beers, plus their regular red is quite good - hazy light red - soapy lace - light caramel maltiness in the nose, but the aroma is mostly resinous hops, citrus, lemon, pine - medium body, slightly oily texture, moderate carbonation - flavor is more like an imperial ipa - the malt base provides a decent structure for the hops that dominate the flavor - hop flavors of earth, pine, citrus - bitterness is zesty, peppery, but a tad abrasive in the finish - some alcohol heat at the end as well - simple, but enjoyable enough - I prefer the regular red, though.

From can to glass in a vigorous pour... hazy copper-orange color with a thin white head. Thick sheets of lacing. Soft aroma of citrus hops, florals, and caramel malt. Sweet. Flavor is dry and floral, not as the aroma would suggest. Astringent bitterness that lingers. The floral bitterness to plays a strong role... ok, just doesn’t hit the mark for me.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Ruben for this bottle! Hazy dark reddish amber. Great hoppy aroma, bursting with tropical fruits (lots of melon). Slightly sweetish flavor with chewy malt, a bit of caramel and a very bitter and hoppy finish with a bit of fruitiness and nice piney notes. Medium-bodied. Very nice.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of SpringsLicker. Pours a cloudy golden with a small and lacing white head. Hoppy and lightly citrusy nose. Medium body, a lightly sweet fruitiness before a rather bitter finish. I need some more aromatic qualities. 250313

Tap @ Marble Albuquerque. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a an off white head. Tangy, slightly vinous, mildly acetic, somewhat funky, light tropical fruity nose. Tart, acetic sour, cherry, tangy citrusy, dry, a bit wood flavor. Not too complex and a touch strong but decent stuff? Was this aged in wine barrels?
