Draft in Santa Fe. Very dark maroon color, bright tan head. Aroma of gourd and spice. Taste is spiced gourd. Nice balance, and the spice doesn’t overwhelm.

Clear light gold color with a sticky, tall, white head. Fragrant resiny citrus hop aroma. The flavor is light but assertively bitter with nice malt sweetness underneath. Well done IPA.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Argonaut Denver. Pours a touch hazy, reddish brown appearance with a mild brown head. Spicy toffee, a touch smoky, bourbon, mild port, dark fruity, plum, fig aroma. Chewy dark fruity, fig, plum, raisin, caramel, chocolate, sweet bourbon, vanilla, tannic flavor with a slightly strong, yet dessert like finish. A lot going on and quite nice. Nice warmer for a cool night.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Argonaut Denver. Pours a dark rust orange appearance with a very nice, bubbly brown head and nice retention. Rich toasty malty, caramel, a bit burnt, earthy, a touch citrusy hoppy, slightly boozy aroma. Thick, caramel, burnt caramel malty, creamy, a touch piney, grapefruity hoppy, quite rich, somewhat syrupy flavor with some booze on the finish. A little overdone, for me at least.

Peanut hulls, unmalted and unhusked barley, and orange peel aroma. Cloudy amber, medium sticky yellow head. Overripe apricot, maraschino cherries, grain, bread crust, crackers. Very busy and certainly not boring. Some DMS. Spellbinding complexities, neat transitions, good balance, one of a kind, but slightly flawed. Entertaining.
