(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, on 2009-04-19) Dark brown and clear. Small white head. Malty and sweet aroma. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Malts, molasses, liquorice, ash, sweetness and coffee in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

Bottle, 6.0%. Almost black colour, clear with a red shine. Small frothy head. The flavour is nicely roasted, mild but flavourful. Creamy notes, faintly lactic.

Bottle 33cl. @ [ Ulfborg Tasting ].[ Courtesy of Maria ]. Clear light to medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate and cabbage water notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a fast disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of bread and light notes of malt as well as a bit of hops and straw. The flavor is sweet matly.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, that also lends it a bit of acidity, it also has notes of soy sauce, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks joergen for sharing.

(Bottle) Very dark brown colour with ruby hints through light. Brief, foamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted, slightly spicy nose with dark rye bread, dark chocolate, sweet cofeee and hints of soy sauce. Malty, roasted (almost burnt) taste with strong and sweet coffee, dark rye bread, dark chocolate, tar and a hint of soy sauce. Medium body, rather sweet. Well balanced. Good beer. This was a nice surprise. In short: dark bread, chocolate, tar and soy sauce.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a touch of dust. The flavor is sweet malty withy notes of honey and dusty hops.
