Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor.

(Draugt at Gallows’ Kekri as Julbock 2008) Deep brown. Small white head. Chocolate and cherries in nose. Full bodied palate. Chocolate, cherries, bitterness and coffee in taste. Chocolate and bitterness in aftertaste. I am impressed how good this beer was.

Smallish brown head. Opaque black body goes dark brown at edges. Roasty malty metallic earthy aroma with chocolatey notes. Dry burnt dusty sooty taste with chocolatey notes. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Lots of taste. Dry roasty burnt chocolatey earthy aftertaste. Very nice. (0.33l bottle, Alko Arkadia, Helsinki.)

Draught (Vilii Wäino, Helsinki) - Dark brown in colour. Roasted aroma with malt and a hint of coffee. Slightly tangy tasting at first. Coffee and malt feature strongly with some raisins and a faint hint of liquorice in the aftertaste. Not bad at all.

An almost black beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is roasted, slightly sour and a little bit of sweet, bread and hint of coffee. Taste is balanced and nice, some sweetness, roasted malts and coffee, hint of sourness. Body is strong enough with medium carbonation makes this beer to nice and smooth to drink. Stallhagen Julbock 6.8% is good beer and it’s reminding me a little of Sinebrychoff Porter and thus this has to be a good beer. I will buy more and I will recommended everyone to try this.

Medium light brown head. Brown body with very light carbonation. Deep malty caramelly roasty toffee aroma with faint hoppy notes. Dryish firm malty caramelly straw and roasty taste with peppery raisin notes. Harmonic, with a lovely dry edge. Dry roasty spicy straw aftertaste. Very nice! (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Copper colour with brief, foamy head. Malty, fruity nose with dark bread, dried fruit (apricots, raisins), caramel and sweet malt. Fruity, malty, slightly roasted taste with bread, caramel and notes of fruit juice (raspberry or black-currant). Slightly below medium body, rather sweet. Short, slightly bitter-sweet finish. Fairly nice, but lacking some in the malt department.
