Bottle. Clear, dark deep amber body with a small beige head. Quite nice aroma of chocolate malt and bread. Flavor is medium sweet, toasted malt, caramel and low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Drinkable and even a bit underrated, but still nothing special going on here. Plain and straight forward malty beer, the spices seems to have disappeard somewhere.

Bottle. A rather unclear dark amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving some lacing. Malt driven aroma with toffee, coffee notes, roasted malts, bread crust and some dark dried fruits. Notes of dark rye bread too. It's more or less full-bodied, semi-dry and quite nicely carbonated, with a malt driven flavor profile. Rye bread, dark dried fruits, toffee and some coffee grit in the flavor. Notes of cocoa. Lasting malty finish. Well, there's some good things going on here, but overall it's a rather dull and uninteresting beer. 180602

Bottle. It pours a hazy dark amber to brown body under a big, foamy beige head. Some lacings. The aroma is quite soapy spiced, with ginger and a hoppy touch. Some roasted malts, caramel and toffee too. It’s full-bodied, quite carbonated and semi-dry. Spiced flavor with coffee notes, toffee, roasted malts and some soapy ginger. Decent bitterness. Roasted, spiced finish. Not sure about this one. It’s too soapy and the spices are a bit overpowerering, but it’s a decent beer anyway. 151231

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum, Tromsø.A dissipating beige head to a clear dark brown coloured body. Poor lacing. Bread and earthy malts on the nose. Spiced malt-fruity flavours, moments of nuts, bread and dried fruits that go into the finish as well. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Tromsø 22.12.2017).

500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Hugh and frothy fawn-coloured head leaving lacing rings down the glass. A deep ruby tint to a mahogany coloured body. Herbal hops, toffee and liquorice on the nose. Roasted dark malty taste with nuts, wood and liquorice together with moments of spiced fruits. Prolonged ending. Fits the season (New Year session at Finns, Tromsø 05.01.2016).

Mørk rødbrun farge med masse lyst beige skum som blir liggende. Lukter diverse krydder, og noe modne frukter. Medium fylde. Fruktig, kjenner også bitterhet ala kirsebærstein..
