Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a frothy head. It’s a slow drinker but not too strong tasting. It has a nice gentle hoppiness with a berry-fruitiness in aroma.

10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon zest, lemongrass, caramel and flowers. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - floral and earthy honey (almost a little dirty, in fact ). Some citrus attempting to get through in vain. Decent cereal malt structure. Taste - the honey is a bit dominant and very little else gets a word in. Some cereal again though. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish could be fresher. Overall - not my thing, though I appreciate where other more positive reviews have come from.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Slater's Maravilla ].Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, light apple, light wood - raspberry. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, light wood - raspberry. Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, yeasty, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Slaters, Stafford Definitely a summer beer this one. Nose is dominated by lemon. It is slow to settle, but eventually pours a clear lemony yellow with a small white head. Summer fruits in the mouth, mainly lemon and grapefruit. Finish is the only place where sharp hoppiness comes through – lemon peel. Not my kind of beer really, but distinctly quaffable.

Cask at Doncaster Beer & Cider Festival 2019. Amber colour, no lasting head and aroma of malt, biscuit. Taste is malty, toffee, biscuity with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

7/6/2019. Cask at the 28th Doncaster Beer Festival. Pours bright amber with a bubbly just off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, toffee, fruit and biscuit. Medium plus sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Slightly burned caramel bitterness develops to finish.

Cask at Doncaster Beer & Cider Festival 2019. Pale yellow gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of biscuit, cardboardy. Taste is sweetish, malt, biscuity, cardboard, and toffee hints. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish with some residual sweetness. Kind of OK.
