Description
Damn Good Beer Brewed in the Centre of Cambridge:
You don’t get to call yourself a Brew House without backing it up. We do.
Right in the middle of our pub sits a working microbrewery. Vanessa runs it. She’s our Head Brewer, and she doesn’t mess around.
The taps rotate. There’s always something new. Show up and find out what’s on – your mouth’s been waiting for this.
Want to see how it’s made? Book a brewery tour or experience day. Vanessa will take you behind the scenes. You’ll sip, swirl, sniff (yeah, sniff) – and actually understand what makes beer worth drinking.
No fluff. No filler. Just damn good beer brewed the right way.
Changed name to King Street Brew House late 2025.

Cask at the source. It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet dough, grain, light caramel, cereal and toast. The taste is grainy, hay, decent bitterness, light toast, grapefruit, pepper and lemon with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. I don’t the grainy mouth-feel. Fairly so-so.

Cask at the Cambridge Brew House. It pours pale amber with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, straw, pithy citrus and light toast. The taste is crisp, good bitterness, pine, grapefruit, peppery, resin and earth with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very nice crisp bitterness and high drinkability. Surprisingly good.

Tap at brewpub. Copper colored beer with medium off-white head. Malty, hoppy aroma with grapefruit, lemon, citrus zest. Taste, starts malty, fruity, followed with nice portion of hoppy bitterness. Tasty.
