Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Clean golden colour, with medium head. The aroma is mildly piney. Lean, not too sticky, with some caramel flavour, maybe a touch of Crystal, followed by a bold hopping, very bitter (not too much), with resinous and piney character. It's bold but balanced.
Quite old school, but properly made.

Nice medium copper body and modest foam. Hoppy caramel on the nose, and that's about it. Taste is chewy caramel, soft hop notes, ending smooth. Full and tasty though a little simple.

On tap at Another Beer Co, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has a rather earthy, subdued hop character, a touch of pine, and crisp bready malt. Flavour is fairly piney and oily, with a fungal, earthy hop character, some oily resins, and bready malt. Oily mouthfeel, somewhat herbal and vegetal. Not a huge fan of the hop expression. Good attempt, but it needs some work.

Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Toast and some cocoa. Cocoa, coconut and toast. Quite decent actually.

Clear brown body and modest foam. Nice sweet banana on the nose, slightly chewy. Taste is a pile of malty orange zest, caramel all over the floor, lingering sugar. A bit too much like a blunt instrument.

Dark brown. Looks oily, no head. Light roast aroma. Chocolate, sweetish, gentle roast throughout. Missing the fruity vibrancy I prefer in this style, but they definitely appreciate and respect what a foreign stout is (an actual style, not a gravity range). Well, shit, cheers to that!

Dullish pale. Thin head. Some tartness and just a hint of melony sort of hop. It's bit of a starter DH sour, but ok.

Pink and cloudy. Looks nice. Thin head. Lots of raspberry on the nose and palate. Mild tartness and sweet raspberry syrup.

Pale. A bit dull. Just a thin head. Fairly yeasty aroma, sweaty, maybe a touch of herbaceous hop. Moderate bitterness, and the yeastiness tastes better than it smells. Not bad actually.

Good foam on a light gold body. That is a lot of tequila and lime on the nose, nice to know it's there, but leaning into overbearing. Taste is a mellow lime with soft margarita hints. Ends smooth and slightly dry. Totally not my kind of beer but it's executed very well here.
