Clear golden appearance with thin head. It’s a well made beer but at only 3.6% lacks any degree of body and depth.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A reddish amber pour with a ring of cream head; malty aroma; spicy malt taste with a woody bitterness; then a biscuity finish with lingering bitter herbs. Not bad.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Dark with a thick head. Sweeter than expected, which perhaps subdues its coffee as this was not found on this occasion.
