Hazy gold with a rich white head. Yuzu and light lime. Lime and some citrus with a long lime finish. Lime overwhelms.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy orangey gold with small white head (tried side by side with The Commute kolsch). Soft cereal malt with a bit of sweet grain. A little too sweet and lacking much else in the way of depth.

Re-rate: Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with big beige head. Bitter roast malt with mild chocolate notes. Significantly improved from its initial release. Decent. Oct 30, 2021 (6/3/6/3/11=2.9): Poured from the tap @ Studio. Very dark brown with beige head. Subdued coffee with slightly powdery cacao. Neither the coffee nor the chocolate are of any quality. Inoffensive, but just an overall below average stout.

Poured from the tap. Murky brownish yellow (like diarrhea water) with full white head. Spelt and ancient grain, mild honey, and light hopping. Not sure what they used, but I'm guessing the variety of specialty malt is what makes this more unique (whether that's good or bad is debatable).

Medium brown cloudy body and okay foam. The nose is soft coffee mixed with bad halloween candies, some nutmeg, and all a little thin. Taste is chewy nutmeg and chocolate, coffee notes, ending a little chalky and not in a good way. This is a stout with some issues, therapy is recommended.

Cloudy brown body and some good creamy foam on top. Lots of chewy grain on the nose, muddy and overly sweet. Taste is chewy malt, sweet grain, sugary cereal. Finishes smooth. Not a bad altbier but a little on the chunky side.

Cloudy light brown body and okay foam. Lots of chewy biscuit on the nose, honey and ladyfingers bought in bulk at Wal-mart. Taste is much the same with sugary biscuit dominating, ending chewy. This kind of beer should be clean and malty - it's missing the mark rather severely.
