Golden colour, chill haze. Bold malt base, with bready and biscuity malts; lean; strong bitterness, some herbaceous character from the hops, and light esters. Ok.

Can: Poured a yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of malt notes with some citrusy notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of rustic malt notes with some citrusy hops notes and some ester mix with too much residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. A bit too much residual sugar and lacks some balance.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, peach, passionfruit, earthy yeast and light piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, orange, mango, green grape, passionfruit and earthy yeast in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A tasty juice bomb.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt, grapefruit, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit, orange, papaya, grass and piney hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid.

Sorta hazy, medium head, pale amber. Fruity, maybe raspberry, coming off the aroma. Medium bitterness, nice berryish and stone fruit hop accents. The biscuity pale malt base accentuates the fruity hops nicely. Liking this.

Pale straw, effervescent. Medium head. Aroma is grassy, grainy and showing a bit of tartness. On the palate, cleaner. Nice pale malt character leaves just a kiss of sweetness for the herbaceous hops and medium bitterness. My standards for German pils are Bitburger, Jever and Wernesgruner...this has enough to evoke those, but of course isn't as polished. I wouldn't expect that. Solid work, though. Also, *marktplatz

Dark brown, medium head. The aroma features a fair bit of toasty malt. Medium body, touch of caramel, cocoa, and toastiness. Semi-sweet finish. Low bitterness. The malt character isn't as rich as I prefer in this style, but it's good decent complexity.

Chestnut colour. Light aroma of bread, malt. The body is ok, minimal residual sweetness trying to support the flavour; the malt is simple, there is just a touch of caramel; balanced bitterness.
Marginally better than the average BC dark lager, but nothing impressive.

Blond colour, rather pale, but clear. Mild aroma of honey, bread, and grass. The mouthfeel is a bit weak, it's also dry, but there is some decent bread flavour, and grassy hops; maybe more North Germany than South Germany, but it's pleasant, the elements are there, even if on the mild scale, for Germany; still, an interesting one, in BC.

Clear blond colour, not pale like other local lagers. Mild aroma of malt. The body is not too weak, the first sip seems to promise some malt flavour, bread, honey toast, but it doesn't last much, and the bitterness is insufficient, the hop qualities modest. Gentle fruity note. Not bad.
