Cask at the Tamworth beer festival 05/09/2025. A light hazed nutty brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody roast. Pine, brown bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded grains, pine tips, woody roast. Meaty. Palate is semi sweet grains, mellow cask condition. Ok

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Aroma is tangy. Murky dark cola. Thinnest beige head. Aroma has berries and coffee. Flavourwise it is similar with added tang. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. OK.

ABV: 4.5%. ✅ Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy and open, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted, chocolate, vanilla, sweet malt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, chocolate, sweet malt, vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191203]

Bottle split at CCV, thanks to whoever brought this one, Cotteridge Wines 08/06/19. Hazed golden orange with a good sized off white head. Nose is grass, orange peel, straw, toasted malts. Taste comprises ripe fruit esters, bready notes, grains, dusty hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok pale.

28/2/2020. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2020. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of Sorachi Ace hop, citrus, syrup, sweet malt and biscuit with a touch of herb. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, creamy texture. Distinctive Sorachi Ace ale. Liked this.
