I need no excuse to rate a mongoose-oose-oose. Although maybe I do as it's not that great. Bright clear gold with small white head. Bread, cereals, hint of lemon and spice. Lacks a crispness in the finish and flavour fades to a meh although still better than most so called premium lagers.

Bottle from Garsons Farm Shop. Sugary doughy aroma. Light amber. Fizzy white head soon disappears. Sweet with a sour edge into a more citrus sour finish. Light bodied. Slick with a chalky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Dry finish. It's a lager. it's drinkable. Probably better than the other options you get in Indian restaurants.

Two bottles alongside a lunchtime curry in the City. A lovely flavour and a smooth texture that complemented the jalfrezi and the bhuna perfectly. It’s not something that I would want to drink solo, but perfect with a curry.
