Bouteille 750ml, gracieuseté de Beervana lors du CanBIF Spring 2015, merci! Couleur dorée foncée trouble, mousse blanche meringuée. Arôme de levure, fruité, poivrée, malt. Goût de levure, poivrée, malt. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Bouteille 660ml, gracieuseté de lupulist, Thanks Mark! Couleur jaune paille voilée, mousse blanche crémeuse et insistante laissant une superbe dentelle. Arôme d’agrumes, pomélo, houblon résineux, herbes fraîches, Brett, fleurs des champs. Goût agrumes, malt, touche de Brett, bonne amertume, citron, un peu épicé en fin de bouche, belle sécheresse qui commande une autre gorgée. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen.

Cloudy blond colour. The aroma is quite dank. The mouthfeel is lean, not much residual sweetness, but still quite bold; crispy malts with some wheat/oats pollution; bold hopping, piney, resinous, a bit dank, and robust bitterness.
It may have taken a slight NEIPA turn, but it's still a very solid IIPA.

Cloudy blond color with orange hue, generous head. Strong aroma, piney hops, candied orange, cedar peel and lemon zest. The body is well structured, the mouthfeel is lean, the residual sweetness is very limited; very good malt base, delicate, some white bread crust; bold hopping, plenty of piney resins and candied orange peel, possibly light chicory in the final.
Wonderful.

Found this bottle that should be ~5 months old; when one has had the fresher Vexillium, he would notice that this one is less bright, but still, it's not old at all, it's sweet and fruity and resiny, a wonderful IIPA.

2016-10-26, bottle from High Point Liquor, Vancouver, 8-4-9-5-17=43
Golden-orange color; it seems that this year they have gone in the East Coast Silliness direction, as it's murky. The aroma is powerful and fruity, passion fruit, apricots. The crispy malt is a delicate foundation for the powerful hopping, very resiny and citrusy; the eyes trick the mind, and I feel some flour on the tongue.
Muddled, but still it has some of the most expressive hoppings around.

Nice and fresh aroma, not as strong as required; moderately sweet, the hop is much better in the flavor, could be fruitier, juicier though.
Excellent IIPA, I liked it more last year though.

Dark blond color with a dull greenish hue, hazy to cloudy, with small head. Fairly sweet but not cloying, the malt profile is on the light colored side, the hopping is very orangey, and the alcohol bis surely evident in the final; but it pays on the other side for some lack of carbonation, it makes it become a bit heavy.
Like the look suggested, it's a bit muddier than last year, definitively heavier to drink, less fresh, less exciting.

2015-03-20, bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver, 8-5-9-5-17=44
The color of a warm sun, golden, hazy, with creamy head. Strong aroma of fruity hops, with an earthy bit of manure. Smooth mouthfeel; sweet but with a lean body; the pale malts provide an excellent backbone, lightly biscuity, and the hops take the stage with a huge amount of piney resins and citrus fruits, but also some mango and pineapple tropicality; in the final it shows a tiny spicy character that adds complexity and interest; extremely drinkable.
