Description
Four Winds joined the burgeoning BC craft beer scene and opened their doors to a public thirsty for new local offerings on June 1, 2013. Owned, operated and built from the ground up by the Mills family and friends, we are inspired by the Four Winds in gathering flavours from around the world to create our unique West Coast and European styles. We take great pleasure in the application of new world innovations while staying true to old world techniques. Motivated by the limitless potential of beer, as well as the great brewers who came before us, we aim to craft bold beers with character, depth, and balance.

On tap at Four Winds, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is on the fruitier side, with light toasted malt. Flavour brings out notes of vanilla, coconut and a little lactose. Nice balance of flavours, though the vanilla and coconut really steal the show. Nice beer.

On tap at Four Winds, pours a fairly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rye upfront and moderate tartness. Flavour is really well-balanced, incorporating the rye and tartness wonderfully. Not too much tartness and not too much rye. Great stuff.

Black, tan head.Coconut nose. The vanilla in the palate drowns out pretty much everything else. Not a fan

Cask at Six Acres, Vancouver, 12 oz
Black color, with small head. Strong aroma of toasted coconut and some chocolate. Lean body; the low carbonation improves the experience; it’s quite chocolatey, not roasty, with a touch of coconut, vanilla and roasted nuts; the sweetness is very moderate, the final is medium-dry.
Nice beer.

Bottle - Candied pineapple and sweet fruity brett notes. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Tart fruity and a little spice. Fruit is juicy and tartness is light with a lingering yeasty finish. Quiet nice.
