On tap at Alibi Room. A cloudy light straw gold with a coriander and orange zest aroma. The taste is a solid wheatiness with lots of coriander and a touch of citrus zest. The typical rough palate I am coming to associate with Vancouver. A pretty middle of the road witbier.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of dry hoppy notes with some citrus undertones and some light peppery notes. Taste is also dominated by a mxi of peppery notes form the rye malt with some dry hoppy notes with some citrus undertones and some light fruity ester form the Belgian yeast. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid rye IPA with plenty of complexity while retaining some very good drinkability.

Hazy golden color with compact generous head. Delicate aroma of summer straws, light Brett, impression of honey. Smooth mouthfeel; the malt profile is not impressive; the bitterness has a vegetable accent; mild cedar peel, and some astringency in the end.

Big head, crashing nicely. The aroma has spicy yeast, lots of florals, big spicy peppery, and the malts are toasty, well-balanced and there is a fresh character with nice complexity.

On tap. Pours a hazy copper color with light white head. Aromas of sweet malts and light toffee. Flavors of toasted malts, light caramel and light piney hops. Quite full and chewy for a Pale Ale. Nice.

Bottle shared by Ferris at RBSG. St. Louis. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose/taste of grapefruit peel, orange peel, citrus, light tart funk and light malt. Medium body. Great balance. Superb.

Bottle shared at Thursday night’s Presidential Suite sharing session during RBSG 2014. Thanks! Hazy apricot yellow with off-white head. Aromas of big tropical fruit, citrus fruit and peel, lemon lime. Tastes of pine, citrus, tropical fruit, a bit of Brett. Medium body and dry. Nice.
