Can, 0.473l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma of citrus, ripe tropical fruit and flowers. Pours clear amber color with medium sized soapy off-white head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and tropical fruity, following is resinous, caramelly and herbal with medicinal note, mouthfeel is smooth but dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. West Coast Greg…

Lemon peel and grapefruit. Murky yellow pour with decent head and lacing. Light bitter end. Decent session ale. A little high on the green onion hop tang on the finish. Can.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a deep dark brown with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out plenty of pithy blackberries, a touch of leather, and light lacto. Flavour is fruity, with lots of currants, pithy berries, leather, and toasted malt. The lacto is much less pronounced than in Nectarous — the dark malts help this. Good stuff.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy red/brown with sort pink head. Aromas of earthy berries heavy on currants, plus wheaty malts. Flavors follow same with a bit of raspberry tartness. Dry and earthy. OK

Definitely an odd first foray into non-alc, with the purple butterfly pea flower, a sort of basic kettle sour, light body, floral chamomile. Going for cocktail vibes it seems like.

Clean pale malts, moderate bitterness. Slight herbal hop, but downtuned. This probably falls in as a middle-range kolsch for bitterness, and the malt is the best attribute.

Opaque and pale, sort of a pear juice colour. Soft body, floral and slightly fruity, stone fruit, with modest bitterness and a creamy mouthfeel.

Very pale, very slight haze, light saaz nose, thick head, clean pale malt. Moderate body, a bit of bitterness up front, light pale malts in the finish. Balanced, off-dry finish. Drinkable. Very well-executed.
